Dear Parents,
My name is Chrystal Lagace, and I’m excited to introduce myself to you. Some of you may already know me, and for those I haven’t yet had the pleasure of meeting, I look forward to connecting soon.
I’m writing to let you know that I will be joining the Forest classroom in July, as I begin my first practicum in Early Childhood Education. During this time, I’ll be working alongside the teaching team as a second educator, supporting your children in their daily learning and activities.
A little bit about me — I’ve been part of the childcare field for over 12 years and have gained experience working with children of all age groups. Over the years, I’ve taken various workshops and continued my education at a pace that worked for my family. Now that my own children are older, I’ve been able to focus more on completing my educational journey, and I’m thrilled to be nearing the finish line.
Outside of work, I love spending time outdoors. I enjoy yoga, paddle boarding, camping, fishing, and hiking — and I especially love sharing my passion for nature and movement with children whenever I can.
I feel fortunate to have learned from many amazing educators and mentors here at this center, and I’m truly excited for the opportunity to work with your children during this practicum. Please don’t hesitate to reach out at any time if you have questions or would just like to say hello.
